First Third In the beginning,the Montecristo No.4 offered a mellow yet robust profile.Earthy and woody notes were prominent,with subtle undertones of coffee and vanilla.There was a gentle sweetness that balanced out the more robust flavors.The smoke was creamy and smooth,coating my palate with a rich,satisfying taste.The cigar's construction ensured an even burn,and the ash held on firmly. Middle Third As I progressed into the middle third,the flavors began to evolve.Nutty notes emerged,adding another layer of complexity to the mix.There was a hint of graham cracker,which gave the smoke a slightly buttery quality.The draw became slightly looser,allowing for easier puffs.The earthy flavor continued to dominate,but it was now joined by a more pronounced coffee taste,with hints of caramel sweetness.The overall body of the cigar had shifted from medium to medium-full,providing a more intense and satisfying experience. Final Third The final third of the Montecristo No.4 was a true testament to its craftsmanship.The flavors reached their peak,with a perfect balance of spice,wood,cocoa,and fruity notes.The spice was not overwhelming but added a nice kick,while the cocoa provided a rich,velvety texture.The fruity undertones were subtle but contributed to the overall complexity.The smoke remained creamy and full-bodied,leaving a long,satisfying finish.

I am not a daily cigar smoker. When really good friends come for a night or two great bourbon and No. 4 Montecristos are what we do. No.4s are sooo wonderful in depth of taste and great with great bourbons!
