The Avo brand from the Davidoff family, came to pass when Avo Uvezian, the famous jazz pianist and cigar enthusiast teamed up with the Master Tobacco blender Hendrik Kelner based out of the Dominican Republic. It took off in the 90s and was taken over by the Davidoff family in the middle of the 1990s. Today it provides high quality cigars, lighter and darker wrapper leaves and medium blends.
